For your consideration is a really solid MONO pressing of The Beatles self titled double LP better known as - The White Album. The pictured copy I’m offering is a lower numbered copy at No 0129497. I’ll do my best at describing the condition and ask that you please observe the provided photos for your condition concerns.

Here goes:

Both records feature clean labels with no spindle marking. The vinyl (both) is in solid VG+ condition. Very few marks can be seen and none are able to be felt when running your fingers over the surface. They both play beautifully with minimal to no background noise. In the quietest passages very slight background sound might be heard, as I listened to both records immediately before posting this listing, but I’m more confident in saying static could be a big part of the cause. Simply stated they sound great. Anyone I’ve had the pleasure of passing my records onto in past auctions will most certainly attest to the fact that I am overly critical when describing played vinyl. If I sell a sealed record it’s a breeze. Describing vinyl that has been enjoyed in the past is a bit tricky so I tend to overstate any flaws. I am a collector first and use the “do onto others” philosophy. I want us both to be completely satisfied with any and all of our transactions.

The top loading cover of this first UK pressing is very clean. As seen in the photos there is minimal wear. The glossy finish applied to this original cover retains it’s clean high gloss. Many copies of this release will show flaking due to the glossy finish, especially around the edges and mostly with the spine, but I’m happy to state there is NO flaking associated with this copy. Very rare in that regard. There is a bit of noticeable discoloration, again very common with this release, located at the center-bottom of the interior gatefold. It can be plainly seen in the photos. I do use a lot of bright lighting (4 vintage Smith-Victor professional photography lamps bearing down) so any notable flaws pop out in the photos but will look much less noticeable when the item is actually in your hands. I’m not playing down any flaws, just stating a fact.

As far as the original 4 photos of “the boys” and the original poster, (everything is original to this specific copy. Cover, records, photos and poster are the ones that originally came together when it was still sealed) their condition is as the rest of the package, solid VG+. No rips, tears or discoloration.

I hope that covers enough to help in deciding if this copy is for you. It is an all around solid and true VG+ under the strictest standards. I’ve noticed pristine copies sell for well over a thousand dollars. This copy I’m offering has no claim of being pristine, by no means, but I will say that it is still a beauty. The cover’s construction is 100% in order, the vinyl plays beautifully with a solid bass line, the labels are clean and bright, it’s low numbered and a first UK MONO Pressing with pictures and a poster original to this specific copy and lastly, as stated by Paul McCartney...”it’s the bloody Beatles White Album”.

Selling a big part of my personal collection accrued over 5 decades. Will be listing a few auctions/items weekly. Some very rare BEATLES items among many OTHER artists. Please check in from time to time and see what Rarities and Odd pressing I’ve listed from this extensive collection.

The small print: Unfortunately I’ve been getting winning bidders who have no intention of paying for their won items. I must request that payment be made within 48 hours of the auction ending or at least send a simple and brief note letting me know that your payment will be made by an agreed upon date. I’m very flexible in that regard and I just want to know I have a sincere winner. Thank you for your understanding.

***Note to international shipping***

For international shipping I only ask for the exact shipping cost. I have set the fee at $50 due to eBay requesting I enter a value but I will refund any cost up to the $50. Simply stated if it cost $35 to ship to you I’ll refund $15. If it cost $25 I’ll refund $25 and so on. I don’t want to make anything on shipping and actually loose money where shipping is concerned both domestically and internationally. Thank you ALL for your time and interest.
