The gatefold cover of Sgt. Pepper's was the very first of its kind, world-wide. Its revolutionary concept went to several stages of development. The last test cover that was printed in extremely small quantities received a remark "FOURTH PROOF" and the code "AR D 1321." on the right inner side, high on the inner "flap". The album I auction off here is an original first pressing of Sgt. Pepper (MONO!!) accompanied by such an ULTRA-RARE "FOURTH PROOF" cover (which additionaly has "Patent Pending" on the reverse)!
Condition:
The SUPER-RARE test cover with the "FOURTH PROOF" is in EXCELLENT(-) condition with just some spine wear.
The original cut-out sheet is NEAR MINT!
The rare 1st pressed MONO record with "Sold in UK" on its labels is in GREAT EXCELLENT PLUS condition!!
