Description
This is an ultimate collectable Beatles item. PMC 1202. Original Please PLease me album with Parlophone label on old design - gold writing over black label. The sleeve is the original E J Day one, with large mono on front. The label quotes The Parlophone Co Ltd and does not state "sold in uk "etc. The publishing quotes Northern Songs for Standing, Misery, Secret and Theres A Place, but Dick James for PLease PLease Me. The sleeve is graded as VG with some creasing on front and part of the flipback at top of rear coming away slightly but was fixed from the inside. The record itself can only be graded as VG-. There are a lot of scratches over both sides. May jumps 2 times on other turntables but not at mine because of one deep scracth on one track. But then again the quality of the original thick vinyl shines through and despite the scratches the sound is quite clear without distortion - just background crackle.
