From Apple Records (PMC-7067), this is "The White Album" by
JOHN, PAUL, GEORGE & RINGO, a remastered mono pressing
made in the UK. It is still SEALED in the original factory wrap and in MINT
condition. Amazing sound quality; gorgeous packaging with the lowest stamped
number we've seen.
From the liner notes: These heavyweight 180-gram vinyl records were cut
from the original master tapes. The mastering team used a completely analog
signal path and were guided by the notes made by the cutting engineer
for the first pressings of the discs. The packaging replicates the artwork
and construction of the original album sleeve.
From Rolling Stone Magazine's DAVID FRICK: This new vinyl edition ... is
the Beatles as they wanted to hear themselves. They started making albums
in 1963, when stereo was new science and a luxury. As late as the white album,
they treated a mono mix as the definitive document.
