Beatles - "The Beatles' Story" - US Double LP - Mono
Capitol - TBO 2222 - 1964
This original double LP was a Capitol attempt to cash in on The Beatles' success. It consists largely of commentary, interviews and fans screaming. Apart from the odd few bars, there is no Beatles music present. It is a worthy addition to any Beatles collection though because it is of the time, released when The Beatles were at the height of their performing fame.
Records are both in near mint condition. Only played a couple of times.
The Capitol inner sleeves are in excellent to near mint condition. Both have slight splits on one edge due to disc movement.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. Brilliant, considering the cheap way the sleeves were thrown together in the States in those days.
