Description
THE BEATLES - 'STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER'/'PENNY LANE'
This barely played copy of their double 'A' sided 45 is a UK pressing dates from initial release in February 1967 and is on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5570
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK...' text and have 'The Gramophone Co..' rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the 'Strawberry Fields Forever' label.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18415-1 & 7XCE 18416-2
Stamper codes: 2/ROM & 7/GAL
The disc is housed within its original limited edition full colour, UK printed paper picture sleeve.

A superb, unworn pair with just a single clumsy spindle trail around the 'Penny Lane' centre hole only.
Visual: MINT
Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are 'shop new' and unmarked both in strong daylight AND directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Play: NEAR MINT
Immaculate, unworn sound quality from this barely, if ever played copy with no traces of any groove/play wear or background noise to any part of either track. You will not find a cleaner sounding copy.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A clean & flat example with some toning to the white areas and some light storage creasing but no damage or wear to the upper edges or stresses or splits to any seams. Both panels are also free from any writing or missing paper.
