Capitol Records Pressing Plant, Scranton PA identified by the capital letters I over AM in a triangle stamped in the dead wax. This release has the number "2" printed bottom right.
The album is the third on Capitol and fifth Beatles American release following the United Artists release of A Hard Day's Night. The album includes eight songs from the British A Hard Day's Night, as well as the tracks "Slow Down" and "Matchbox" from the Long Tall Sally EP and the German-language version of "I Want to Hold Your Hand". This mono version also features the extended single mix of "I'll Cry Instead."
Sleeve: USA board sleeve in generally good all-round condition, light signs of handling only, fully readable spine, no writing, clear back, has small seam split on upper edge and a longer one on the bottom edge, fairly usual for old US covers unfortunately - Graded VG
Labels: Classis Capitol Records rainbow rim in nice condition, no marks, sticker residue, or writing, see photos graded EX-
Vinyl: retains its sheen, on closer inspection (under bright light) couple of feint lines and longer surface scratch (S2) which does not affect play would grade EX-
Audio: very clear, crisp clean audio, plays through with no problems, no pip, pops, sticks, skips or jumps, lovely copy (played on a Project carbon - blue 2M Ortofon) audio graded EX+

I strictly adhere to the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide using one + or - as an additional guide:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
