Here is a very reasonable first-issue copy of this great album.
You can see condition of the cover from the photos, which are the item for sale. It's very good, lamination in good condition, flipbacks at top of the inside of the gatefold. I'll mention minor defects - a little wear to the corners, a little wear at the openings, "scallops" from taking record out of sleeve. Ring-wear, which has dulled the lamination on front and back, in a circle. There is an impression of some writing, top left on the back, where previous owner's name was written, but has been erased. Cut-outs sheet is present and in excellent condition. "The Fool" inner-sleeve is present, but tatty.
Record has had "one clumsy previous owner" (who I bought it from). You can see labels are intact, but lots of spindle marks - it was played often! Playing surface shows lots of various marks, mostly light, surface-y. I wanted to see what this one would sound like, so I cleaned it, then play-tested it all the way through. The music drowns-out any scratchy noises, scratches are not audible, in normally-loud parts, and also get lost in-among drumming. Scratches are audible in quiet parts, and between tracks, but not very loud. Original sound is still present, this is not worn-out - it sounds as a mono copy of this ought to sound.
Rare Record Price Guide suggests a price of £150 for a mint copy of this. Because the vinyl doesn't look good, and you'll be putting-up with some audible scratchy-ness, I could part with this one for £18.
