Description
Offered here is an Original: The Beatles, Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, Capitol LP MAS-2653, Gatefold, Mono, Scranton Pressing, 1967, Play Tested. Music is Crisp and Clear - there is a very tiny mark on the last track side 2 within the last 10 groves or so at the very end of the song that makes a noise during three spins, extremely light, light noise randomly on side 2 - not distracting at all! The cover is beautiful with the tiniest of corner bumps bottom left and top right and on the back corners so I am calling it excellent. All internals are present and in Nearmint to Mint condition. I try my best to be accurate in grade. The spindle holes have nomarkings BUT Grading is subjective. CAREFULLY look at the photos, zoom in on them. Judge the condition for yourself please. This came from a large PRIVATE estate collection of similar items we are currently offering! Stored and Shipped in a protective LP plastic sleeve.
Original mono colorband label that came with red/white inner sleeve and cardboard cut-out sheet (see photos). -A2 title "A Little Help From My Friends" -A7 title includes exclamation point on the rear cover, but no exclamation point on the label. -B4 title includes comma on the rear cover, but no comma on the label. -B5 shown as "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - Reprise" on the label (i.e., no parenthesis).
-Does have NEMS or Maclen Music credits on the back, lower right corner.
First catalog # (MAS 2653) on the back cover. Second catalog # (MAS-2653) on labels. Third catalog # (2653) on spine, inside gatefold.
