Beatles Sgt. Pepper's LHCB Lp 1 Emi Box Stereo / mono Cover error [Ex/Vg+]

Description

A 1box Emi copy by Parlophone in the Uk from 1970.With VERY RARE Stereo/Mono cover error. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover with exposed flipbacks. Interestingly at this point the printers obtained the incorrect proofing artwork. Some of the copies mention mono playback at the foot of the rear! And --- at the top the MOST collectable error --- Stereo and Mono catalogue numbers. We also have the original inner sleeve and Cut-outs.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a few lightest marks per side - and a couple of miniscule slightly heavier ones.. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. The Only tracks which are marginally sub-par is WI64 + Rita. A couple of ticks a couple of clicks and a few crackles here and there. Not bad...just not clean like elsewhere on the LP. A super dooper copy by and large - most original examples do not play at this level.  Highly recommended.
Cover (Vg+) Tricky to find this Rare version...., but this example is in above average and has avoided ageing and wear on the main surfaces. The interior looks perfect. Spine has a heavy war patch midway down (1 inch). Text is still largely legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Super rarity.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing.  No splits,
Cut-outs (Ex) very nice.
