This really was the birth of progressive rock! It was the Beatles' 9th Lp and what an imapact it had. and still does have. Released on the 1st of June 1967, the album reached number 1 across the board, staying at number 1 for 23 weeks!! With a total of 148 weeks in the charts!!

Vinyl: VG++...Just a couple of light marks! Lovely shine and as flat as the day it was bought. Just finished listening to side 1 and there's just a small amount of background crackle, which would be reduced with a professional clean...One mark has just the lightest of clicks to side 2, during Good Morning....this is listed for the perfectionists out there!

Labels: VG+ Lovely and clean. Rather a lot of spindle marks evident when angled to the light, and only a slight bit of hole wear to both sides. "KT" tax code to side 1.

Inner Sleeve: It is a plastic linned inner-which has done a good job in keeping the vinyl in very good condition.

Cut-Outs: Sorry, not present.

Cover: VG- The front cover is still lovely and bright, as are the back cover and the inner picture.The down side is the spine as it has been taped. There is also a small split of 1.5cm to the opening, which has also been taped. It is certainly not the worst cover I have seen as the taping has been done sympathetically and well.

All in all...great vinyl condition with an OK cover...Maybe grab it for the vinyl and swap it out for a cover you have?

Just a little note on grading: 'Mint' means I have just stepped out of the record shop in the 60's, never opened the record and kept it in fantastic dry and warm condtitons...unlikely isn't it!!
