Beatles Sgt. Pepper UK Parlophone Mono LP Rare Widespine G&L Sleeve
We do combine shipping on multiple items.Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band UK (Parlophone PMC 7027) Mono LP with "wide spine" sleeve. Complete with pop art psychedelic inner sleeve and cutout sheet.
During early production in Great Britain of the Sgt. Pepper sleeves, Garrod & Lofthouse printed some sleeves with a wider spine (9 cm) than the standard (5 cm) spine. These widespine jackets were prone to being crushed very easily and were manufactured in much less numbers than the narrow spine jackets and are much more scarce as a result.

Grading
Jacket: (Very Good) The fully laminated widespine gatefold sleeve is in very good condition. The front and back both have vibrant colors and are very clean. Hardly any laminate stress marks. The bottom and top edges are clean and straight (NO splitting) and the outer corners of the sleeve are excellent with some rubbing wear. The spine printing is clear and legible. There is some laminate/paper loss on the front by the top and bottom of the spine and there is a strip of tape at the bottom of the spine (otherwise the sleeve would grade at least grade excellent). The top and bottom corners of the spine have moderate to heavy rubbing wear.
LP (vinyl): (Near Mint minus/Near Mint minus) The ultra glossy, 127 gram disc looks barely played with very little signs of visible use. The audio is excellent plus on both sides with light background surface static and occasional light pops. Absolutely NO skips, NO repeats, NO jumps, NO loud pops and NO distortion.
Cutout sheet: Near mint.
Pop art inner sleeve: Excellent with light wear.

Grading: We are conservative graders and try to be as concise and as accurate as possible without a lot of the standard hype. We use the Goldmine and Record Collectors grading systems as our guides. Please ask us questions about any details about the item before bidding.
Shipping:
Packaging: All items are professionally packaged with high quality unused materials for shipment. No items will ever be loose in their shipping cartons. Records that are not sealed in their original shrink-wrap will never be shipped in their original jackets. All vinyl will be in poly-lined sleeves and outside of their original jackets so that no seam splitting will result during shipping.
Shipping charges for vinyl discs, posters and memorabilia include the cost of postage and boxes with extra padding. Good packaging is not cost effective but we insist upon safe and secure packaging. We do not want you to receive damaged items!
