Labels: VERY GOOD +
A clean & bright pair with numerous spindle marks around the side 2 centre hole mainly and a stylus scratch on label 1, but no other major signs of wear to either.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surfaces are clean & bright with just a handful of faint surface marks in strong daylight, but nothing I would call a scratch. There are some circumferal marks in both run-out which I guess were made as a result of careless cleaning. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than some harmless inner-sleeve removal hairlines but no other signs of visual wear. Both sides of this quality copy lie 100% flat when playing on the turntable.
Play: VERY GOOD +
This copy has received frequent but careful play and there is no major deterioration to the sound quality overall. My single careful play-check uncovered some light groovewear to the opening of track 1, side 1 as well as some minor distortion to the peaks on the delicate 'She's Leaving Home'. However, apart form these minor blemishes, there is little esle to fault. I did not hear any clicks, pops or any other such audible distraction anywhere.
Cover
VERY GOOD +
A respectable example which retains an unscratched high-gloss laminate with just a single, tiny 'thumbnail' wrinkles near the front opening edge, but no other significant signs of wear. All of the corners are free from any bumps or bruising and there is just slight wear to the opening edges of the rear pocket. The inside of the gatefold is immaculate, with no missing paper to the edges of the flipbacks. The rear panel is as vivid & vibrant as the front with the only blemish being a minor disc impression from storage. There is some moderate wear to the spine but all the wording is present and readable. All seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with just a trace of light storagewear but no writing, tears or splits to any seam.
