*EXCELLENT* 1967 UK 1st PRESS *MONO* LP
Black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 7027
With the 'Sold In UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims on both labels.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in a fully laminated, inner-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono gatefold cover with regular width spine.
Complete with red & white designer inner-sleeve & cut-out sheet.

Both surfaces of this rarely played copy are extremely clean & bright with no dulling or clouding to either surface. There are one or two light inner-seeve removal marks on side 1 in strong daylight & two 1cm light hairline scratches on side 2 but no major faults or wear. Close inspection directly under halogen light reveals no furether blemishes to either side. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT -
This copy has received careful play and my careul playcheck at volume revealed no groovewear distortion or background noise on any track. However, there are a few clicks on both run-ins and on the introductions of both songs. The delicate 'She's Leaving Home' contains a few light ticks but none of the usual groovewear distortion usually found on this track in mono. Overall then, this is an respectable copy of the outstanding and superior UK mono mix.

EXCELLENT
A clean & bright example of this vibrant cover which retains is high-gloss all-round laminate displaying just some light handling & storagewear. The corners and opening edges display are undamaged & the inside of the gatefold is immaculate. The spine is clean with all the wording covered and undamaged. All seams are strong, unstressed and unsplit.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT -
Light storagwear & disc impression but no tears, splits or missing paper.
Cut-out sheet: MINT
The colours are slightly out-of-register but is otherwise is 'as new'.
