This is Nice – featured here is an OFFICIAL French BLUE Vinyl LP for The Beatles release ‘Sgt Pepper’.
The LOVELY Blue Vinyl LP is on the official Black and Silver EMI Odeon/Parlophone Label and is protected in Plain White Sleeve. The album is housed in a Gatefold Sgt Pepper sleeve, with the catalogue number, DC 1, printed to the top left hand side of the front of the sleeve and track listing on the reverse, together with the official Odeaon/EMI logos and reference to ‘Made in France’. Also included in the package is an official Sgt Pepper Cut-Out.
Now turning to the grading of this interesting variant – Side 1 of the Blue Vinyl Disc is in excellent condition, would be graded near mint with the exception of an approximately 1 1/4" light scuff to the side 1 vinyl, which runs through tracks 2 & 3. Side 2 of the Vinyl Disc is graded in SUPER near mint condition. The outer gatefold sleeve is respectable excellent condition – A very nice sleeve with a CRISP Spine and clean front and reverse, showing just a little mild record indentation, and a little corner bruising – but certainly nothing that detracts from the overall really IMPRESSIVE package.
One of the harder to find in this official French coloured vinyl Series – Would make a great Xmas gift idea!
