Description

Beatles Sgt. Pepper 1st Pressing Mono Yellow/Black Parlophone Label.

An original mono 1st pressing.  Side 1 Stamper XEX 637-1, Side 2 Stamper XEX 638-1.  Side 1 label has K T Tax Code mark.

This item has been in my possession ever since I purchased it in 1967.  The playing surfaces have a couple of visual scuff marks and there are some spindle marks around the center. I test played it this week and the sound is very clean apart from the odd pop and click which is to be expected on a record which is now 50 years old.

The record is complete with Sgt. Pepper cut outs and the original red & white inner sleeve which is intact apart from some creasing.  It  has “Made in Great Britain, Patents Applied For”  printed on it. 

The outer sleeve is the wide spine version produced by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. and is in very good condition for its age.
