1967 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING LP
**NEAR MINT**
This NEAR MINT 1967 UK 1st stereo pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 7027
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in a fully laminated, inner-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed gatefold stereo cover.
Complete with its original red & white design inner-sleeve & unused cut-out sheet.
Matrix numbers: YEX 637-1 & YEX 638-1
Stamper numbers: 2/GAM & 4/GAD

Both sides appear MINT when viewed in strong daylight with no groove-whitening or dulling to the surfaces from improper long-term storage.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible wispy inner-sleeve hairlines but no other marks or wear.
Both sides lie 100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
An outstanding sounding disc which has clearly received just one or two careful plays on top quality equipment.
The sound throughout is perfectly clean & clear with no trace of any background noise or groovewear on any track.
Even the frequently & easily damaged 'She's Leaving Home' & 'Day In The Life' fade, play without fault.
Both run-ins and all bands play silently. There are no clicks, pops or any other audible fault anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS
A pristine front panel with an unscratched high-gloss laminate bearing just a single small 'thumbnail' crease towards the opening edge.
There is a small bump to the lower right corner but all opening edges are clean, sharp & unworn.
The rear panel is clean & glossy without any 'thumbnail' creases, ringwear or other faults.
The inside gatefold is in perfect condition and has clearly has remained unopened for many years.
The spine is unworn and retains a 100% laminate covering with all text clean & undamaged.
All seams are strong, unstressed & unsplit.
