“Fourth Proof” sleeve.

This very very rare unique sleeve! The “Fourth Proof” sleeve represents the earliest possible pressing of the Sgt Pepper cover. The Fourth Proof was the final version of the various ‘prototypes’ that were explored by the Beatles when the cover was being designed. The cover (and text) was approved by the Beatles and an initial very small ‘test’ run was undertaken to make sure everything looked OK some people say there was only 100 made. This small test run is characterized by the inverted “Fourth Proof” text in the top right hand corner of the inner gatefold – just above George Harrison’s head. This is therefore the earliest possible ‘prototype’ (test pressing) cover. Same fold-back have can printed text “AR D1321? which was probably the reference number for the prototype text that was used.

NOW THE CONDITION OF THE LP AND COVER!

 NOW PLEASE NOTE I`AM NOT A EXPERT IM DOING TO SOULY TO MAKE SOME MONEY FOR MY WEDDING NEXT YEAR.

OK WELL THE COVER LOOKS TO BE IN VERY VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH ONLY A FEW CREASES FRONT AND BACK THE SPINE LOOKS TO BE OK STILL INTACT NORMALLY AS THEY USE THIN CARDBOARD THE SPINES ALWAYS GOT DAMAGED REGARDLESS IF YOU COULD FINE A MINT COPY WOULD BE WORTH £5000+. THE LP ITSELF I WOULD PUT A GRADING OF VERY GOOD IT DOES HAVE SURFACE MARK BUT NOTING SERIOUS.  

NOW I HAVE STARTED THIS A REASONABLE £20 AND THAT`S A BARGAIN AS THEY GO FOR £££
