Description
1967 first issue of the Capitol Records US release of the Beatles Sgt Pepper album. This is the scarcer mono version of the LP in great condition. Much nicer than most on eBay, especially in this price range. It includes the original inner sleeve and the Sgt Pepper Cut-outs sheet. The photos are taken from the actual example being auctioned. Notice the front cover is in unusually good condition with the blue sky area especially showing no wear. Really a great front cover corner to corner which collectors have long been finding very difficult to find. The back cover shows wear, light splitting and roughness around edges. Still pretty clean overall. Spine is strong, small paper loss in center - see photos. Pencil writing on one side of original inner sleeve (shows in photo, very minor but needs mention). Seam split to bottom of inner sleeve too. Disc is clean and hasn’t been handled much with some scratches and subtle smudging. This is a nice record! I’ll package carefully to ensure safe arrival.
