Description
You are bidding on a great example of The Beatles Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band, a UK First Edition in MONO.
The FIRST ISSUE MONO VINYL LP is on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd label’ rim, ‘Sold in the UK….’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ printed to both of the PRISTINE record labels.
The Vinyl Disc comes in an ORIGINAL First Issue Flame Pink and White inner bag printed ‘Made in Great Britain Patents Applied For’ to the bottom corner and comes with what I believe is the original First Issue CARD Sgt Pepper Cut-Out, which is completely unused.
The album comes in the Original First Issue Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Internal Flip back gatefold Sleeve printed ‘PMC 7027 Mono’ to the reverse, this is in very good condition with no rips, tears or marks.
The album looks in great condition on both sides with a nice gloss and no noticable scuffs or marks, unfortunatly I can't play the album so I can't confirm how it plays but looking at the surface I can't see any problems.
Overall I think this is a great example of a iconic first edition album, the only negative I can see is that there is a small white name tag on the top of the label on side one - as shown in the picture.
