* Near Mint (NM) is the highest grade I use, except for sealed items.

As strange as it seems now, many copies of the original 1970 Let It Be LP ended up in retail cutout bins, usually with one of the corners cut off to identify it as a cutout.
This is one of those copies, although note in the pictures that they didn’t fully cut the corner off - it’s still attached, but only by the back cover paper slick. And this also caused a tear in the shrink in this corner.
The original owner used a black marker on the price sticker, but you can still read “3 / $5.00 or $1.77 EACH” underneath.
Also note in the pics that there’s a 1 1/2” tear in the shrink at the upper left back corner, and a tiny one at the very top center of the front.
Not quite a perfect example, but still an original sealed copy (and clearly not a counterfeit, as evidenced by the clarity of the cover photos and graphics).
