Beatles SCARCE Jukebox E.P. Meet the Beatles A1 Plates 1964 EX!

I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

Issued simultaneously to just the first pressing of the album, this 6-song E.P. was never issued to the public.  Most copies you find were in jukeboxes, and they have the battle scars to show for the near-constant play they received.  This auction is for the record only.

Sleeve:  Company Capitol sleeve is provided in very nice condition.  A generic white sleeve will be provided to protect your company sleeve during shipping.

Vinyl: Side 1 has only two scant light lines if you take the time to tilt it to a bright bulb.  Otherwise, it looks unplayed.  Side 2 has four or five small but visible scuffs that you can’t feel with your fingertip.  Still presents very well.

Labels: Side 1 label looks NM, printed yesterday appearance.  Side 2 label has some ringwear, but no dirtwear.  Not that bad.  See photo.  Seems fairly clear that selections were played from Side 1, since the Side 2 shows all the wear from having fallen to the record below it in the jukebox.

Plates: A1/ A1.  Machine-stamped triangle with the letters, “IAM” are in the dead wax, making this copy pressed in Scranton.

Think your Beatles collector has it all, and that you’ll never find their perfect Christmas gift?  In a few years’ time, they will be lying on a couch, describing opening this Christmas gift to a therapist.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
