Parlophone PMC 1267 - MONO 1st pressing
with RARE LOUD CUT mix!
We are delighted to offer this rarity: This is a VERY first UK mono pressing of "Rubber Soul" on the yellow & black Parlophone labels with "Sold in UK". It is especially rare because it is one of only a few mispressings which escaped the factory before they were spotted. Both sides of this record were pressed with more dynamics - superior sound, indeed! But too much for many of the record players in use in 1965. Nowadays, these copies, with the matrix numbers ending in "-1" on both sides of the vinyl, are very sought after!
The cover (Garrod & Lofthouse flipback!) is in correct VG condition.
The record is even VG+.
