Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean & vibrant set showing a moderate amount of light spindle trails but no further significant blemishes.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces are extremely clean and retain their deep-gloss shines. The only significant surface mark on the disc is a light 1.5cm scratch on track 1, side 1 - apart from that, there are no further noticeable blemishes visible in strong daylight. Close inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than some harmless wispy paper hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal. Both sides of this well looked-after disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This fine sounding copy has received some careful play on good equipment and the audio is overall clean and free from any groove/playwear distortion. The aforementioned scratch does produce a few soft ticks during 'Drive Me Car' but apart from that and a hint of light background on 'Michelle' there is precious little to fault soundwise and still much to enjoy.
Cover: EXCELLENT -
A highly respectable example of this striking cover which retains an unscratched, high-gloss front laminate where the only sign of wear are a handful of 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the front opening edge. The corners are on excellent, unbumped shape and there is only the slightest trace of wear to the opening edges. The rear panel is white an undamaged with just a small stain towards the lower right corner. All flipbacks are fully intact and both seams and the spine are smooth, unstressed & unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with a few gentle storage bends and slight age-toning to the paper, but no writing, tears or missing paper.
