Description

The Beatles - Rubber Soul

 (Parlophone PMC 1267 UK LP 1965)

 

This is the 2nd UK mono pressing from 1965 in very nice condition. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve. It comes complete with its original Emitex tracing-paper lined inner sleeve - which is in very nice condition. The record has black & yellow Parlophone labels which have "The Gramophone Co...",  & "Sold In The UK..." texts but does not have the "Recording First..." text. Has -5/ -5 matrix stampers. The mother stampers are MD 1 & AL 2 respectively.

 

Sleeve: Overall nice! Mild fading to the rear & a couple of slight stains. VG condition

Vinyl: Overall quite nice! Just mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light & a couple of light hairline marks. VG condition. Plays very well with only mild crackle in the quiet places. The labels are clean but show mild to moderate spindle wear.

 

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper cruciform mailer & card dividers). Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £40.
