Description
MEM: MOVIE & MUSIC MEMORABILIA
An original UK 12" vinyl LP by The Beatles entiled "Rubber Soul", this being a scarce original UK 1st Mono pressing, issued on Parlophone PMC 1267 in 1965 NB. 1st pressing indicated by "Gramophone" rim text, "Sold in UK" label text. Matrix numbers are YEX 579-1 & XEX 580-1 (stampers being 4 RH & 4 PH respectively). The record comes in its original Emitex sleeve. The cover is printed by Ernest J Day & is laminated to front & unlaminated to the reverse.
The vinyl has been played only lightly & the record plays very well throughout. There is a faint scuff track2/side2 but this does not affect playing & otherwise the vinyl looks to be unmarked & in EX condition. The cover has a few light creases (ie, front cover bottom right corner)/marks & there is a name written to the reverse but as shown, overall it remains in VG+ condition. It is very difficult to find mono 1st pressings of "Rubber Soul" in this kind of condition.
