The Beatles : Rubber Soul 1969 ONE EMI BOX pressing E J Day sleeve
This 1969 pressing is on the silver and black Parlaphone label with the EMI logo only at the bottom of the record label. It comes in a rarer E J Day sleeve sleeve which omits the Gramophone wording under the logo on the front cover .Matrix No`s :

CONDITION
Labels: NEAR MINT
Very little to fault as can be seen in the photos – 1 very light mark on side 1 which could be manufacturing. No spindle marking.
Visual: VERY GOOD+
Looks excellent+ towards near mint in daylight - but there are a few light marks and fingernail marks and some in and out the bag rash under halogen but nothing at all audible.
Play: NEAR MINT
This original tube cut pressing sounds pretty much faultless. Hard to find a better sounding copy. I can hear little if any difference between this and my near mint black and yellow original.
Cover: EXCELLENT
This rarer E J Day sleeve is in super condition – at least Excellent with just a few light creases and some very light ring wear only when viewed at certain angles .Overall this is clean and tidy with nice sharp opening edges and a very clean rear. The spine is sharp with clear text.
Inner: EXCELLENT+
Sepia inner is in great condition with just very light wear.
I`m a Beatles collector of over 15 years and a very fussy audiophile. All discs are play graded at volume on an Avid Sequel fitted with a SME V and Benz Ref cartridge – very revealing kit.
