I've searched the internet and asked several experts around town, I simply cannot find another item quite like this. A real Beatles rarity.

The controversy stemmed from the artwork, as the band was unhappy with the cover. Classic images from the 1950's covered the sleeve, but the Beatles were primarily a 60's band. The artwork was designed to take advantage of the 1950's nostalgia that was at a peak in the mid 70's.
This listing is for an uncut sheet of the album sleeve. The records themselves are not included. The sheet is in fantastic condition and would look striking in a nice frame. There is some very light wear around the edges, but no damage to any portion that would be visible once framed. The worst of this wear is visible at the bottom of picture 6.
If you look at picture 7, you can see the printer's information. It reads "Job Number 16771" and is dated "5-4-76".
This has been stored in a cardboard tube for many years. It has not been exposed to sunlight for longer than a few minutes at a time and therefore shows no fading. It looks fresh off the presses. As you can see in picture 8, the tube is quite large. The reason this is important is that the sheet was not rolled tightly, and so it flattens out nicely. The sheet will be shipped in this same tube.
