Description
Here’s a unique, rarely seen “Designate Promo” copy of the 1976 US Capitol issue of the 2 LP Rock N Roll Music set. As shown in the pictures, “NOT FOR SALE” is embossed on the lower left corner of the back cover.
The LP is mostly sealed, but unfortunately the top is open - which has caused a 1” separation of the silver “foil” in the center of the top spine. The cardboard cover underneath does not appear to be split or damaged.
There is some visible ring wear along the top of the front cover, and the round impressions from the LPs inside are visible on both the front and back covers.
Despite these flaws, it’s still a very nice piece visually - a solid VG++ overall. And of course, its collecting appeal is its unusual promo marking.
