This is the Very Rare 1966  UK Pressing with the Decca like rimmed labels ! There's much speculation about this strange pressing but as like most experts confirm, it is not a Decca contract pressing !!!  ' Please Please Me ' and ' With The Beatles ' were the only Lps pressed by Decca during the original Studio Album releases and the Sgt Pepper's and this Revolver are known as fake Decca's. It's still a mystery to why these are pressed in this way, possibly manufacturing fault or something similar.Whatever the reason, one thing for sure is the are very rare and sought after and barely ever surface for sale ! and if they do,the are normaly  in very well used condition. This one however is a very nice example, so don't miss out !!! it may be some time until another nice one comes along.

Impossibly rare pressing which you  NEVER SEE !  Not only is this the very rare Decca groove like label but it has the rarer type font ! the printing error for Doctor Robert - printed Dr Robert !  and side 2 has the mix cut from the 3rd Laquer (-3 ) !

Do not under estimate the rarity of this pressing ! just try and find another.

COVER

This is the correct Garrod & Lofthouse tri-flapped cover with mono logo printed on the front .Clean and bright example with nothing more to fault than some light bruising on the corners and a couple of light laminate creases.Nice solid spine with all print intact with no splits, the rear panel is clean with just a hint of storage wear, all flaps are intact without rips etc, overall not an near mint example but a very clean, presentable one that would not look out of place in any collection ( see-pics ) EXCELLENT MINUS  CONDITION !

VINYL

Both sides have a rich glossy shine with clear deep grooves and nothing more noticable than a couple of light fingernail rub lines and one tiny 3mm scratche on ' Here There And Everywhere' which does cause a couple of clicks, otherwise both sides play through without any pops, skips or repeats and just a little light static crackle between tracks, it has clearly recieved afew plays but still retains it's original sound quality with not too many distractions, well above the average condtion offered for this rarity !( see-pics ) Visualy and Audibly : Strong VERY GOOD PLUS  CONDITION
