So rare in this condition. Mint ones often go up to £1000
I would usual do this at auction, but the reserve fees are too high, hence 'Buy it Now'. Serious bidders only. Have had three no-payers recently.
Vinyl: Beautiful, rich dark vinyl sheen in natural light. I have looked at this at every angle and there appears to be no marks or scratches in natural light. This would seem to be borne out by the lack of spindling around the labels. Even under lamplight it is hard to detect anything, though the hairlines start appearing and seem to be more visible in the run out groove. I had to resort to an orange lamp where some hairlines were finally apparent. I believe these are caused by the EMITEX inner and unless the record has been put away in a vault, most Beatles records have them. The fact that there is no visible spindling around the hole of the labels seems to bear this out. That either it has been carefully played or hardly played. I never use the expression Mint by the way. To me that is strictly day or purchase only without removal from the inner which instantly causes harlines. Overall EX++
Cover: Minimal creasing on front cover. Small patches on the right hand part of the cover. Some on bottom left hand corner (see pix). Bit of scuffing and creasing on right hand corner (see pix). Very small scuff on top right corner. Like many Beatles LPs, laminate no quite stretching to opening, so 10mm peripheral line of matt aging. Very strong front cover photo colours. Rich dark print on back. Odd smudging. All the flipbacks have some matt aging on them where the laminate hasn't stretched fully. (see pix). Robust spine. Overall EX+
Inner: Crisp clean Emitex inner but with round creases on all four corners.
Labels: Clean. Great type and colours. No visible spindling (see pix).
Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 7 605-1. Side 2: YEX 606-1.
Stamper numbers: 4/LH & 2/HA
