Labels: NEAR MINT
A 1st class set which bear just a handful of light spindle rails around the side 2 centre label but none at all around the hole on side 1.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Immaculate clean & bright playing surface which shine 'as new' and totally unmarked when viewed in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a few harmless stylus/paper hairlines on side 1 only and a sparkling rainbow shine bu there really is very little to fault on this well-looked after heavy copy of which both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: NEAR MINT
Such a hard title to find in this unworn condition and thankfully this copy has clearly only every received a handful of careful plays on good equipment. The sound is clean, warm and totally unworn throughout and my single careful play-check at volume found no evidence of any groove/playwear distortion or background noise on even the most easily worn tracks; 'Eleanor Rigby' and 'Here, There and Everywhere'. Neither are there any clicks, pops or other such distractions. In fact, aside from a touch of normal light vinyl background between tracks, there are no audible faults or wear on this great sounding example which will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A clean, firm and un-yellowed example which retains a bright gloss front laminate bearing just a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle towards the opening edge and two faint spine bends but no further blemishes or wear. There is a small bruise to the upper left corner but all other are in-shape and undamaged, as are both opening edges. The rear panel is clean & black where it should be with no ring-wear, writing or missing paper. There is a faint bend towards the upper right corner and a wrinkle on that flipback. There is also a small stain on the edge of the flipback in the lower right corner, but all seams and the fully worded spine are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean, flat, white & unworn with just a faint disc impression but no but no writing, tears or seam splits.
