Labels: EXCELLENT +
Both are perfectly clean & unworn with little more than a small collection of spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces which retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine in strong daylight and where the only visual blemish is a 1cm light hairline on side 2 which is non-feelable and does not affect sound or play. Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than from a sparkling rainbow gloss shine without even any wispy paper hairlines to spoil the view. Both sides of this very well looked-after, heavy copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: NEAR MINT
This outstanding sounding copy has received only careful play on top-quality equipment by its previous audiophile owner. My single careful play-check at volume detected absolutely no trace whatsoever of any groove/play-wear on any track or indeed any crackle or interference on any track. Even the delicate 'Eleanor Rigby' and 'Here, There & Everywhere' play perfectly. Both run-ins and all bands are silent and indeed there is nothing to fault audibly with the copy and I guarantee it will not disappoint in anyway.
Cover:
EXCELLENT -
A very clean and strong example from heavy, thick card stock. The front panel is a little off-white but remains perfectly clean and without any wear or creasing to its super high-gloss laminate - not even a single 'thumbnail' or spine bend anywhere. There is a small bump to the upper left corner but no wear at all to any of the others or either opening edge. The rear panel is clean & black with just slight touch of ringwear behind John's head. However, all the lettering is clean & white and there are no other marks or blemishes elsewhere. All flipbacks are perfectly clean & intact but I have taken it down from EX due only to a small 2cm upper seam split. The lower seam is fine, as is the fully laminated and completely unworn spine.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with just a few faint handling wrinkles, but no discolouration, writing, tears or seam splits.
