Description

Up for auction, collection of 3 Beatles’ classic rock LPs from 1966-1968. Decent “starter” set of 2 first pressings, and one second pressing, the opening bid price reflects that.

All LPs have been played-tested if there was any concern based on visual inspection. All LPs play without any skips. An occasional scratch may be audible if there is a quiet passage or if the needle is in between tracks,

Please closely read the grading description to avoid any misunderstanding.

Record grading as follows:

Mint (M): Perfect, often sealed, never played.

Near Mint (NM): Almost perfect, glossy, played sparingly, minimal to no surface marks.

Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows signs of use (light scuffs, minor scratches), but plays well with minimal noise.

Very Good (VG): Surface noise is present (crackles, pops), but not overwhelming; visible wear.

Good (G), Good Plus (G+): Significant surface noise, wear, and visible scratches, but does not skip.

Fair (F) / Poor (P): Heavy damage, scratches, skips, and severe cover damage.

1. Revolver 1966 Mono pressing. Vinyl VG-, numerous scratches, nothing deep, no skips. Clean labels. Jacket is Fair, writing on front ( below John’s eye) side seam is split as are significant parts of top and bottom, but still holding together. Play tested.

2. Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, 1967. VG- vinyl, VG- jacket, minor paper loss on front, see photo. Top seam has clear tape in 3 places. No writing. Rainbow label, no cut-out sheet or psych sleeve. Has numerous scuff and hairlines, but plays well, what noise there is mostly buried in the music.

3.The Beatles 1968 “White Album” no poster or 10 x 8 photos. Vinyl grades VG-. Play tested and did hear a loud pop on Revolution #9. Otherwise sounds good. Jacket as pictured, embossed “BEATLES” and stamped number. I grade as good. Pronounced wear on the back. Although seams shows paper loss it is not split.
