Exceptionally rare 1968 U.S. pressing of The Beatles - Revolver on the green Apple label (Capitol ST-2576, stereo), a transitional pressing from the early Apple Records era. This 11-track version is a collector’s gem, featuring the original U.S. tracklist with "Love You To" but missing "Doctor Robert" and "And Your Bird Can Sing", a configuration rarely seen in Apple reissues. The vinyl was pressed at Capitol’s Los Angeles, CA plant, with unique runout markings that enhance its collectibility.
Why It’s Rare: This 1968 pressing is a transitional gem from the Beatles’ shift to Apple Records, using the early U.S. 11-track master before Capitol standardized to the UK’s 14-track or fuller 11-track list. The "X" markings, Jay Maynard signature, and dashed star make this a unique Los Angeles pressing, highly sought after by collectors for its historical significance and mastering provenance. Few green Apple Revolver copies retain this exact configuration, making it a standout addition to any Beatles collection.
