Beatles. Revolver. Original 1. Press according to" Record Collector". UK. PCS 7009. Doktor Robert label, side 2. Dr. Robert spelling on rear cover. Maybe this is a transitionel press between the 1. and 2. Press. The 1. label has the " Sold in UK......." , " The Gramophone......."- rim. The tracks listed in one line each. With KT- taxcode. Press 2. Has not the " Sold in UK..." and not the KT-taxcode.Has " The Gramophone....."- rim. Has eventually two tracks in same line listed on label. This item has both " The Sold in UK...." and "The Gramophone...." from press 1 and the KT-taxcode. From the press 2 the listing with more than one track in each line.
Record: excellent with a brilliant sound. Has a little hairline and paperscuff.
Labels : excellent with some spindlemarks. "Sold in UK." and "The gramophone" text. See pictures. KT taxcode on side 2.
Cover: Flipback Garrod and Lofthouse, with some wear and yellowing. See pictures. No major flaws like writings etc. Inner: Orig. Sepia adversiting inner. A little aging discoloration. No tears or splits.
Matrix: YEX 605-1/606-1. Stampers: side1- TR at 3 o'clock. 3 at 9 o'clock ( difficult to see). side 2- HM at 3 o'clock. 4 at 9 o'clock.
