Description
This is a rare 1963 Swan white label pressing of "She Loves You" by The Beatles. The record is in excellent shape and has been graded as such. It is a first edition 45 RPM single in the format of a 7" vinyl record. The record label is Swan and the release year is 1963. This piece is a must-have for any avid collector of rock 'n' roll music. This particular record came out in 1963 before the Beatles US invasion in 1964. It sold very few copies and is now a treasured Beatles collectible. There are many Swan white labels currently on sale on ebay, but most are reissues, and can be determined so by the lack of the words "Mastering Reco-Art Phila" found in the record trail off. As pictured, this record contains that wording confirming it as an authentic first pressing. Although it's not a less valued promo copy, it appears the record was likely used by a broadcast station, with the two X's, and the date stamp, noted on the "She Loves You" label, as the side to promote. The labels themselves are the glossy white variation. The vinyl still has significant gloss with some light scuffs, and plays beautifully without any distractions, like hiss, clicks, or ticks. It's been play tested thoroughly. Item is from my personal collection and will be shipped in a standard corrugate record mailer. Please note that when this first edition of the record came out, it did not come with a picture sleeve, and therefore will be shipped in a generic white sleeve.
