SUPER SCARCE OFFICIAL READERS DIGEST CASSETTE BOX SET, ALMOST SIX HOURS OF BEATLES MUSIC FROM 1962 TO 1970, NEVER SEEN BEFORE, AND UNLIKELY TO SEE IT AGAIN!!
Containing almost SIX HOURS of Beatles tracks and issued by Readers Digest UK in conjunction with EMI UK, circa late 70’s/early 80’s, this RARE Six Cassette BOX SET is entitled ‘The Beatles Box From Liverpool’.
Not to be confused with the more readily available World Records Cassette Box Set, this Readers Digest UK set is an entirely different design.
The THREE FOLD Picture card BOX, constructed of strong cardboard, opens out to reveal the six cassettes, neatly protected in plastic moulded holders. ‘Readers Digest’ is printed on the spine edge of the box (see scan).
The track listing is printed on both sides of each cassette and additionally on the reverse of the fold out box, as shown in the next two scans. The contents of the cassettes capture The Beatles career stretching from 1962 through to Let It Be, including tracks from all of the Beatles albums. There is almost SIX hours of Beatles music!
This RARE little Set is in SUPERB condition. The SIX cassettes are mint and UNPLAYED, the box itself is IMPRESSIVE and a excellent plus example, with just a small corner bump to the bottom left hand corner and a small ½" split to the top left hand front corner.
