GUARANTEED ORIGINAL, FIRST ISSUE, COMPLETE, AND A HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE EXAMPLE
ORIGINAL 1965 UK Parlophone FIRST ISSUE STEREO Vinyl LP for The Beatles Classic album release, ‘RUBBER SOUL’.
The Vinyl LP is on the traditional BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim,made in Gt Britain and ‘Sold in UK…’ label text.
The record labels are in SUPERB NEAR MINT condition, BRIGHT, CLEAN labels, showing only a few light centre spider trails, and no fading to the silver and yellow text, and no wear to the centre spindle holes.
Side 1 matrix: YEX YEX 178-3 and Side 2: YEX 179-3.
Side 1 stampers: 2H and Side 2: 2T.
There is an embossed ‘KT’ tax/price code to the centre of the side 1 record label.
Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in BEAUTIFUL NEAR MINT condition, CLEAN, BRIGHT GLOSSY Vinyl showing nothing more than a couple of light, non sounding, surface hairlines, with NO scuffs or scratches.
The sound quality of this album is nothing less than superb the album plays through the tracks with NO skips or clicks, and NO distortion, just superb clear early SREREO sound quality.
The album comes in an ORIGINAL ‘Made in Gt Britain’ White Inner Bag which is a RESPECTABLE example, NO handwriting and just a 1 ½" split to one of the seams, and only some light, inevitable age toning/creasing , on the both sides of the record bag is a record shop stamp
And is housed in its ORIGINAL First Issue Laminated Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve, printed ‘stereo’ to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve, and with three flipbacks to the reverse.
The Laminated Picture sleeve is CLEAN and BRIGHT, and in EXCELLENT condition. The front panel is FIRM and GLOSSY, with only mild corner bruising to all four corners, and a small repaired tear to the bottom right of the sleeve just above the £ logo, The spine edge is FIRM and the wording Rubber Soul The Beatles is perfectly readable. The reverse panel of the sleeve is CLEAN and RESPECTABLE, as are the three fold over flaps.
Overall a VERY CLEAN, HIGHLY RESPECTABLE and COMPLETE example of this ORIGINAL UK FIRST ISSUE STEREO Beatles album, and one of the most MOMENTOUS Beatles albums of all time.
