Phenomenal Beatles’ exhibit of The very first UK stereo pressing of REVOLVER
PCS 7009 Original 1966 release
FLIPBACK sleeve!!! EARLY stampers!! Original maroon EMI advertising liner in excellent format! Excellent labels!!! Thicker quality press !Vinyl appears lightly played! Excellent clear grooves…Fantastic aural delivery ! Mispressed Dr Robert on album sleeve , Doctor Robert on label !
VERY early issue, G&L sleeve with tri fold flip backs and in vg++ condition .Stereo in black print, located top right of front face , in lower case , to confirm the first issue album sleeve. Incredibly hard to locate . Later album covers did not have flip backs and were much thinner in card manufacture . Still retains a remarkable gloss . G&L album sleeve with Dr. Robert text . Minimal edge wear -lower mid edge approx.3cm / minor ring wear visible. Only a few laminate creases along spine . Some damage visible to lower right, flipback edge.
E M I maroon, inner, advertising sleeve in excellent condition with no seam splits ,nor any other major faults .

Thickly pressed vinyl ,unlike later reissues ,so a remarkable find and a very early first UK pressing of this magnificent Beatles release . There is evidence of play , with 2-3 faint stylus hairlines extending across a couple of tracks, plus the odd surface mark if angled against a strong light. Stunning visual with a tremendous sheen to the surfaces . A pleasure to view !
Excellent Black /Yellow, Parlophone , with Sold in UK text, and Gram. Co. on perimeter of label, signifying a VERY first pressing and has the hallmarks of something really special here . The raised K J T inscription around central hole on side 2 label is clearly visible . Not found on all first pressings , ONLY a handful had this rare tax codification. The rare mispressing of Doctor Robert on label!!! Amazing archive example….A few spindle lines visible only .

Quite an exceptional sound . Make no mistake, this is a very special vinyl, boasting an excellent delivery. Tones are beautifully executed, providing an extensive range of dynamic sound. There is the slightest blip on audio S2Tr3, where there is a couple of the faintest of ticks detected and S2tr4 ,the lightest of scratches, but you have to listen through the tremendous sound, to pick up this slight blemish . Hardly obtrusive and do little to affect the music presentation.
A phenomenal exhibit ,not to be missed.
