Description

Released in August of 1966 after the band’s decision to retire from touring had been reached, REVOLVER, in many circles, is arguably considered to be the "best of the best".
The album itself, the original, American, High Fidelity/Mono version, was pressed at Capitol's Scranton, PA plant (identifiable by the IAM triangle stamp in the run-outs of both LP sides).  First pressings also contained black labels with color bands and credits to "Lennon-McCartney" as opposed to full name treatment on second pressings.
As the original owner, can attest to complete and favorable "play testing".  Age appropriate scuffs and hairlines do appear on the vinyl but are observed to have absolutely no negative impact whatsoever on sound quality.  In fact, surface noise is judged to be absolutely minimal thereby warranting a VG+ grade (particularly for age).  Record labels themselves are clean and, other than a few small, pen asterisks appearing next to a number of tracks and average corner wear, cover has also held up quite well (VG); no split seams.  Original Capitol inner sleeve, in excellent condition, is also included.
