1966 Stereo LP on Parlophone ('PCS 7009')
"The Beatles ~ REVOLVER"
S1: YEX 605-1; with stamper: 'HM' (with '3' diametrically opposite)
S2: YEX 606-1; with stamper: 'P0' (with '2' diametrically opposite)
With 'Dr Robert' on Cover and 'Doctor Robert' on side 2 label - 'Sold in UK ..' - 'G&L' sleeve - 'Black & Yellow' labels; 'KT' tax code on side 2; lower case 'stereo' top right front of cover; with plain white inner sleeve ("Patent No. 1,125,555,"); record weight 150grams.
LP in a near excellent glossy printed cover, not torn, impressed or defaced, with only light rubbing to edges and folds, except to heel of spine where there is about 1cm. of wear; with an entirely legible title on spine; the opening edges slightly age-toned; 'Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd, Patents pending PMC7009 PCS7009'; with undamaged original plain paper inner sleeve.
The disc has a good sheen both sides with no severe scratches which sound, but fine paper scratches visible under a strong light; the side 1 label has a few feint spindle marks side 2 has more and there is also a surname written in biro just above 'Parlophone', as it is dark blue on black it is not immediately noticeable, but the disc is a little off of perfectly flat - which is why it has a bargain starting price. Good sound quality throughout both sides with no significant extraneous noise or clicks.
