Description
This is an extremely rare 1971 Capitol red & orange target label 45 issued by mistake in the US.
Sometime in early 1971, Capitol reissued all original 19 Beatles US Capitol singles on a newly revamped red & orange 'target' logo label with a white center dot.
At some point in the process, Capitol accidentally manufactured a 20th single of "All My Loving" b/w "This Boy" which was a non-US pairing of songs and a repress of a Canada-only single.
This 45 label variation is already rare since it was only available for a few months (until May 1971). In addition, this particular single has an additional error
with b-side labels ("This Boy") on BOTH sides ("All My Loving" does actually play on the a-side)!
Both playing sides of the 45 are VG++ with only very few light storage scuffs with plenty of gloss.
Both labels are mint. Comes in a period correct Capitol blue & yellow sleeve. Don't miss out on your chance to own this rare Beatles single.
