Description
For auction I have a 1965 UK 'Seventh Pressing' of the Beatles Please Please Me album. This album contains the 'Sold in the UK Subject to Resale Price Conditions' across the labels and has 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd' rim print. 'P 1963' replaces 'Recording First Published 1963' and the front laminated flip-back sleeve has small 'stereo' text.
The condition is as follows:
Sleeve Rating: Very Good + (VG+) The laminated flip-back sleeve is in great condition for its age. The sleeve retains a nice shine with just a few small laminate creases along the bottom and one slightly longer laminate crease towards the top, with some minimal edge/shelf wear. The spine looks great and is perfectly legible. The non-laminated back is also in great condition with just some minimal debris build-up along the side of the opening, some slight ring wear on the upper right side, and some slight dirt/debris on the laminated flip-back tabs. This is really a nice example. Take a look at the pictures and if you would like me to send more please contact me.
Record Rating: Very Good to Very Good + (VG to VG+)
Matrix Numbers 'YEX 94-1' on Side 1 and 'YEX 95-1' on Side 2. This is a fairly conservative grade just because there are light 'non-feelable' surface marks on both sides, mostly on the run-in and run-out grooves. There are also spindle traces present on both labels. Audibly the record sounds great. Again, a very nice example.
The record will be shipped in a generic outer sleeve and generic poly-lined inner sleeve for protection, and the outer sleeve will be shipped in a polyvinyl sleeve protector.
