CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT +
A wonderful set with just a hint of wear to each centre holes but no heavy spindle action. A tiny sliver of the silver centre hole marker can still be seen around part of the side 1 centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine & 'as new' playing surfaces which retain 100% of their just-pressed deep-gloss shines and bear literally just one or two faint surface marks (not scratches) upon careful inspection in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath my powerful and unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a small handful of wispy paper hairlines but no further visual blemishes whatsoever. It's a super heavy copy, both sides of which lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of any dishing or warping. Hard to find a better one.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This extremely well-looked after and carefully played copy plays without any significant deterioration to the sound quality. My careful play-check uncovered nothing more than a touch of wear some of the loud peaks on the first two tracks of side 1, but no other such faults elsewhere. Both run-ins and all bands play silently with out a single click, pop or any other distraction here or anywhere.
Cover
NEAR MINT
A very difficult cover to find in this condition & this very fine example has been well looked-after and stored in smoke-free conditions. The front panel laminate is pristine with a perfectly clean & high-gloss laminate which bears no 'thumbnails' or even a single spine bend. There is a little shelf-wear rubbing to the lower corners but but all are free from any bumps or bruising. The opening edges are all in fine condition with the only sign of use being two tiny 'pushes' to the rear edge. The rear panel is remarkably clean & white with a faint trace of storage but certainly no significant blemishes or any writing or missing paper. All of the delicate flipbacks are fully intact with no wear or repair to any. Both seams are perfectly smooth with no flaking laminate, stresses or splits and the spine is fully worded & undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT +
Clean & white with just a little unavoidable storage wrinkling but no writing, tears or seam splits.
