THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
This EXCELLENT UK MONO '4th' pressing dating from 1963 is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1202
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Recording First Published..' texts.
The 'K' purchase tax code is visible around the centre of the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N
Stamper codes: 1,8/GAR & 4/GAO
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' printed cover with a large front mono indicator.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex...' poly-lined inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean & bright set with some HARDLY NO spindle trails around centre hole, VERY CLEAN .
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surface are extremely clean & retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines and are free from any significant surface marks or wear. In fact, apart from a small handful of light hairlines , there really is little to fault in strong daylight. Closer inspection beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than few harmless wispy inner-sleeve removal marks but no further visual blemishes.
Play: EXCELLENT -
This well-looked after copy has received a moderate amount of careful play but is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality or any major faults. There is slight playwear to some of the louder tracks but no clicks, pops, jumps or any other major faults.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A well-preserved clean & strong example which retains and vibrant, high-gloss front panel laminate with just SOME LIGHT BROWNING SPOTING DUE TO AGE VERY CLEAN any significance. . All of the delicate flipbacks are clean and fully intact and both seams and the spine are unstressed, unsplit and totally unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Light storage/age wear only but no writing, tears or seam splits.
