The sleeve is the 1st issue Gold version manufactured by E. J. Day and having the Angus McBean photo credit being aligned to the far right starting under the last 's' in songs. The edges and opening sides are in fact still well adhered to the card underneath. the lamination has no creases. I would grade it around the EXCELLENT mark, there is no writing and the Album cover is very clean.
The inner sleeve is the correct one - a thin type outer paper with a poly-inner and 'Made In Great Britain' text with Emitex advertising info. It is in EX condition with no major faults.
The vinyl itself is actually is better than most 1st issues which come up for sale. I grade this as Good Plus. There are couple of long non-feelable hairlines and a few feelable ones but no other blemishes other than a couple of feint scuff lines. No needle drops, scratches, warping or groove wear. It retains a mirror-like jet black glossy pressing sheen and lies perfectly flat on the turntable check out the images.
The labels I also grade as Very Good Plus as the gold leaf has been well retained and the black paper is still glossy. There are no marks or writing or scuffing. There is spindle point wear on both sides please see photos.
