Description

Third Pressing of Please Please Me with The Parlophone Co Ltd label text but without Recording First Published 1963 + sold in the UK. Very unusually E J Day have double stamped the large Mono making It rather a blur. The Mono over stamp is darker in colour + the M moves over the O of the one underneath !  The sleeve is in excellent condition with bumping to edges + all fold over present although beginning to lift in places. The white back is still as clean as the day it was made with only minor spots of discolouration. The Angus McBean credit was moved slightly to left on the third pressing  Unfortunately the record has not faired so well + is best described as scratched all over  It still plays but with plenty of pops + crackles. This of course was the first Please Please Me on the Yellow + Black Label. The cover is really what your buying. E J Days quality control was  excellent so why this slipped out is a complete mystery ! I have never seen this error before so probably a bit of a rarity ! Matrix No XEX 421-1N  XEX 422-1N The Inner bag is a incorrect later EMI one. Posting immediate Will Post Worldwide at Postage Cost
