CONDITION
Labels: NEAR MINT
A superb clean & unworn set with just a single solitary spindle mark to the 'Strawberry Fields..' centre hole and none at all on the 'Penny Lane' label.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine 'factory-fresh' playing surfaces which shine 'as new' and are unmarked in strong daylight and directly beneath my unforgiving powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this beautiful copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy has been played just ONCE and boasts 'as new' clear, clean & unworn sound quality both sides. Even the usually worn delicate introduction to 'Strawberry Fields Forever' is free from any background crackle or interference, sounding as good as the day it was bought. It's a similar story on the 'Penny Lane' which is so often and easily groove-worn. Here it plays as it should with - perfectly clearly & cleanly with no trace of any of that annoying break-up on the piccolo-trumpet solo or the final crescendo. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed with this copy.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A very respectable example of this fragile cover which displays just a small number of gentle storage wrinkles but no other visual blemishes or any tears or splits.
