Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder-"Ebony & Ivory" promo 45, Columbia 18-2860, released in 1982. Same song on both sides. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM condition. The labels show some "bubbling" which, for some reason, Columbia 45's are prone to. This will come in it's very scarce promo picture sleeve, in strong VG+ condition with some creases. No tears or seam splits. The sleeve is much rarer than the record; most of these promos came in the stock picture sleeve. To make this pressing rarer still, the song title has the "&" and not "and" in the title. Classic McCartney, in a rare format.
